[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-size: 9px; text-align: justify; width: 450px; color: white;]during her little adventures outside of the tribe, when fawn was inactive around the castle and it's grounds, she found many little wonders. she returned with a more developed personality, for sure, and her scarf that she wore every day since she found it. during the harsh season of winter, it was extra useful for it provided warmth needed to stay outside for longer. she didn't exit the thunder castle all that often, however, for she was afraid of the fact she might accidentally wonder away again. even so, it wasn't all that bad. she enjoyed the inside more than the outside for now, and that was certain. she was one of those usual cats you see, that dislike the cold deeply and prefer being warm and cozy instead. the albino femme, as she did for the past few days, was exploring the area again, finding her way around better and better. the thudding of her paws against the ground seemed to echo through the silence. no-one else seemed to be around this part of the place, and it was no wonder, because there wasn't much to find.
after a little more of the exploration, she found herself before a door. they looked old, and where opened ever so slightly. through narrowed eyes, the femme pushed the door to open wider, eyes scanning the dark area. there were cobwebs hanging around, and dust on the ground. she found a tree inside, too. it was rather light, and for certain not real, for it's needles didn't surround the floor around it. it was slightly crooked, and dusty as it was. beside it laid around three boxes. looking inside, she found decorations like big strings of different colors, that glimmered even in the dim light. in another, there were little baubles. in various shapes and sizes, some wooden figures, some clay-made angels, with little hair sprouting from their heads, and wings from the back, holding an instrument of some sort or having their hands joined together. the same applied to the final box, although in that one, there was a big star. it looked like it had a diamond in the middle, and had a little spring, to secure it to the top of the tree.
the baronet knew that someone lately found some santa hats, and almost everyone was talking about christmas. she didn't know the certain period, but she saw people putting up such trees, real or not, into their rooms, and decorating it. maybe she could do that with her clan? it would be a nice activity, and she could meet more of the stormtribers. but it would be a lot of work to get the tree and boxes over to the main hall, on the ground floor. she was sure she was on the level too, so she wouldn't have to make the journey over any kind of stairs, luckily, but those things needed dusting. apart from decorations, for they sat in closed boxes. she quickly dusted off the boxes, and began to pull one after one back to where the doors were.
it would be nice to have a christmas decoration, and enjoy the time putting it up. she left the box in the corner, praying no-one would find it just yet. sure enough, when she came back with the other one, the box sat on the exact spot she left it, untouched. excitement pulsed through her as she started to dust of the tree from cobwebs and other stuff of that sort. finally getting it clean, she pushed it over, and let it fall onto the ground with a gentle thud in company. pulling it by the tip, she was panting whenever the christmas tree could join in with the boxes. it looked simple, and she knew there was a lot of work to be done, but it would be worth it. the tree was big enough so that maybe a larger cat could easily put the final decoration on the top, but that would happen at the end. she found some lights, and pulled them out, trying to untangle them. eventually succeeding, she carefully dropped the little piece, and glanced around. "anyone interested in decorating this with me?" she called out, a smile fluttering on her maw.
she was sure there was no electricity whatsoever flowing in the castle, but the lights didn't have to be lit up, did they? it would be enough for them to just hang around the tree. waiting for anyone to participate, she began to paw through the baubles, taking a look on the individuals.
